Job Description

Supporting pupils throughout the school day, SEND Teaching Assistants help create calm and structured learning environments. Supports pupils with SEND in lessons and structured interventions.

Works closely with teachers to adapt learning activities.

Promotes confidence, independence, and positive behaviour.

Maintains safeguarding, care, and wellbeing standards.

Desired Experience + Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • National Award for SEN Coordination (or working towards it)
  • Experience working with students with SEND across a range of needs
  • Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills
