EYFS Teaching Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a supportive early years setting in Kidderminster. You will play a key role in helping children access learning and reach their developmental milestones through practical, engaging activities.

Support children’s learning and development within the EYFS framework.
Assist with planning and facilitating play‑based and practical learning activities.
Provide attentive care, nurturing support, and positive interaction with young children.
Work closely with staff to deliver inclusive and child‑centred support.
Help maintain a safe, stimulating, and welcoming environment.

Desired Experience + Qualifications

• Previous experience working within an EYFS setting — essential.
• Patient, caring, and responsive to individual children’s needs.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A positive, flexible approach to supporting early learning.
