Job Description

A supportive Secondary school in Birmingham is seeking a Student Support Assistant to work with pupils who need additional guidance managing the academic and emotional demands of school life. Working closely with teachers, tutors, and pastoral staff, you’ll help deliver consistent support strategies that promote independence and resilience. This role suits someone calm, reliable, and motivated by helping young people navigate school with confidence. Provide in-class support to Secondary pupils. Support organisation, focus, and engagement. Offer calm guidance during transitions and challenges. Work collaboratively with teaching and pastoral teams.
