Job Description
We are seeking a Compassionate School Coach to join a specialist school in CV11. This role involves supporting learners in managing their emotions and building strategies for self-regulation, enabling full engagement in the learning environment. You will also lead reflective debriefs with students and staff following incidents, helping foster a calm and supportive school culture. Support learners in developing self-regulation strategies. Deliver emotional and behavioural support during the school day. Lead and debrief post-incident sessions with staff and pupils. Promote a reflective, emotionally safe learning environment. Collaborate with teachers, pastoral teams, and leadership to support wellbeing.
Desired Experience + Qualifications
- Experience supporting SEMH or SEND pupils in a UK school — essential.
- Degree in psychology — desirable but not required.
- Calm, empathetic, and proactive approach.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must be available for full-time, term-time work.
