Job Description

A friendly Primary school in Warwickshire is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support pupils across the classroom during lessons, group activities, and everyday routines. You’ll work alongside the class teacher to help children build confidence, stay focused, and take part in learning with growing independence. Your role will include supporting early literacy and numeracy tasks, guiding pupils through structured activities, and offering reassurance when learning feels challenging. Some children may struggle with organisation or attention; others benefit from gentle encouragement to persevere. You’ll help create a calm, supportive environment where pupils feel secure and motivated to learn. You’ll work closely with the class teacher and the wider support staff to ensure a consistent, inclusive approach. This role suits someone patient, observant, and passionate about helping children feel confident in their learning journey. Support pupils during whole-class and small-group learning. Assist with reading, writing, and basic numeracy activities. Help maintain positive routines and smooth transitions. Work collaboratively with the class teacher and support team.
