FULL DESCRIPTION

A welcoming Primary school in Coventry is seeking a KS1 Teaching Assistant to support pupils as they build early literacy, numeracy, and classroom confidence. Your role will include providing in-class support, assisting with phonics and early maths activities, and helping pupils manage transitions between lessons. Some children may need encouragement to stay focused or to begin tasks independently; others benefit from learning being broken down into manageable steps. You’ll support learning in a calm, nurturing way that helps pupils feel safe and capable. Working alongside the wider staff team, you’ll help create a positive classroom environment where pupils feel supported to participate, practise new skills, and grow in confidence at their own pace.
