Job Description
A primary school in Dunchurch is urgently seeking a part-time SEND Teaching Assistant to provide direct 1:1 classroom support to a pupil with additional needs who requires daily insulin injections. The ideal candidate will be calm, reliable, and either experienced or trained in administering insulin safely.
- Provide tailored classroom support to a pupil with SEND
- Monitor and administer insulin in accordance with medical plans
- Collaborate with school staff and medical professionals
- Ensure the child feels safe, included, and supported
Desired Experience + Qualifications
- TA or SEND TA experience (essential)
- Trained in or willing to be trained to administer insulin
- Strong communication with empathy and professionalism
- Experience with medical needs or EHCPs preferred
