Job Description
We’re seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and skilled team at a post-16 setting. The role involves providing tailored support to learners with autism, communication difficulties, and complex needs—helping them build independence, life skills, and access to learning. - Deliver 1:1 and small group learning support
- Promote communication and independence skills
- Assist with differentiated tasks and daily routines
- Support behaviour and engagement across sessions
Desired Experience + Qualifications
- Experience working with post-16 learners with SEND
- Calm, structured, and empathetic approach
- Strong teamworking and communication skills
- Willingness to assist with personal care if needed
