£22,800 – £25,300 per annum
Job Description
Our Place is looking for a committed SEND Teaching Assistant to support students with complex and challenging needs. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a school or care setting and a compassionate, calm approach to behaviour. You’ll work closely with staff to deliver tailored support that builds trust and promotes independence.
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with SEND
- Implement emotional regulation and sensory strategies
- Support learning, social development, and daily routines
- Work closely with therapists, teachers, and care staff
Desired Experience + Qualifications
- Experience supporting children with SEND in education or care
- Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills
- Driver preferred due to rural location
- DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
