Job Description
A vibrant and inclusive primary school in Birmingham is seeking a dedicated Year 5 Teacher to take responsibility for a KS2 class. This role is ideal for a passionate educator with strong classroom management and a proven ability to differentiate learning to meet diverse needs. A supportive SLT and well-resourced environment make this an excellent long-term opportunity.
- Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching as needed
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to support pupil development
Desired Experience + Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Recent experience teaching in KS2, preferably Year 5
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills
- DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
