Job Description
A specialist college in Coventry (CV4) is seeking compassionate and committed SEND Support Workers to support learners aged 16+ with a range of additional needs. This role includes personal care and supporting students in both educational and life skills development within a structured and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care including toileting and feeding when required
- Support learners in classroom activities and practical sessions
- Promote independence, communication, and confidence
- Follow safeguarding and health & safety procedures
- Maintain professional standards in dress and presentation
Desired Experience + Qualifications
- Must be willing to provide personal care
- Experience supporting individuals aged 16+ (desirable)
- Professional presentation (flat black shoes, black trousers, smart top)
- No acrylic, BIAB, or gel nails; long hair tied back
- Patient, resilient, and team-oriented approach
- DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
