Job Description
A SEND school in Birmingham is seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils who rely on visual prompts, predictable routines, and sensory-aware strategies. You’ll provide 1:1 support, model tasks, and guide pupils through transitions. Some children need reassurance; others need structure and step-by-step cues. Working with teachers and therapists, you’ll help create a consistent environment where pupils feel safe and able to engage.
Provide 1:1 and small-group SEND support. Use visuals, modelling, and sensory strategies. Support calm routines and regulation. Work alongside teachers and therapists.
