Job Description

A Primary school in Coventry is seeking a Learning Mentor to support pupils who benefit from calm routines, emotional reassurance, and regular check-ins. You’ll run short 1:1 sessions, help pupils manage transitions, and guide them through moments of overwhelm. Some children need confidence; others need structure and gentle prompts. Working with teachers and the pastoral team, you’ll help pupils stay settled, focused, and ready to learn. Provide 1:1 and small-group mentoring. Support emotional regulation and ready-to-learn routines. Assist with transitions and organisation. Work closely with pastoral and teaching teams.

- Experience supporting Primary pupils. - Warm, patient communication style. - Confidence guiding behaviour and focus. - Strong safeguarding awareness.
