Job Description
A Birmingham infant school is seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs across EYFS and KS1. You will provide targeted one-to-one and small group interventions, helping students develop communication, confidence, and early academic skills. This is a fulfilling role for someone passionate about creating inclusive learning experiences in early years settings.
- Deliver individual and group support for SEND pupils
- Support classroom routines and behaviour plans
- Monitor progress and adapt support strategies
- Collaborate with SENCO and classroom staff
Desired Experience + Qualifications
- Previous experience supporting SEND in EYFS/KS1
- Knowledge of autism, speech & language, or sensory needs
- Calm and consistent approach
- Strong communication and teamwork
