Job Description

A Primary school in Oxfordshire is seeking a KS1 Teaching Assistant to support pupils with early literacy, routines, and confidence-building. You’ll guide small groups, model clear instructions, and help pupils manage transitions calmly. Some children need reassurance to attempt reading tasks; others need structured prompts to stay focused. Working closely with the class teacher, you’ll help maintain an encouraging, organised learning space where pupils feel secure and ready to progress.

  • Support KS1 pupils during lessons and group tasks.
