Job Description
You’ll support pupils with behavioural and SEMH needs by reinforcing routines, offering calm guidance, and helping them re-engage with learning. You’ll run short interventions, model positive strategies, and support de-escalation when required. Working closely with teachers and pastoral staff, you’ll contribute to behaviour plans that help pupils feel safe, supported, and ready to learn.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide 1:1 and small-group behaviour support.
- Use restorative strategies and consistent routines.
- Record behaviour patterns and report key information.
- Assist teachers with implementing targeted plans.
Desired Experience + Qualifications
- Experience supporting pupils with SEMH or behavioural needs.
- Confident applying calm, structured de-escalation approaches.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and reflective practice.
