Job Description
You’ll support pupils with SEND needs through structured routines, personalised activities, and small-group intervention. You’ll help pupils regulate, communicate, and stay engaged during lessons, using visuals and consistent language. Working with teachers and specialists, you’ll contribute to tailored plans and maintain a nurturing environment that helps pupils access learning at their own pace.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide 1:1 and small-group SEND support across lessons and transitions.
- Use communication tools, visuals, and routines consistently.
- Adapt resources under teacher guidance to meet individual needs.
- Record progress and collaborate with teaching and therapy teams.
Desired Experience + Qualifications
- Experience supporting children with SEND, ASD, or communication needs.
- Confident using structured routines and visual aids.
- Patient, reliable, and able to build positive relationships.
- Strong safeguarding awareness and commitment to CPD.
