Teaching Assistant

Job Description

A Secondary school in Birmingham is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support pupils who benefit from structured guidance and focused classroom support. You will assist during lessons, support small groups and help pupils stay organised during transitions. Some learners need reassurance to attempt challenging work; others need clear step-by-step modelling. Working alongside teachers, you will help maintain an environment where pupils stay engaged and motivated.

Support pupils during lessons and group activities. Assist with organisation and classroom routines. Provide small-group academic support. Work collaboratively with teaching staff.
