Job Description
- To assist with preparation of accounts for all sizes of businesses/charities
- Preparation of management accounts at monthly / quarterly intervals for growing clients
- To process weekly/monthly payroll for a variety of businesses
- To prepare VAT returns using the various different scheme available
- Preparation of Corporation tax and Income tax computations and returns
- To undertake book-keeping work for clients and the firm
- Routine office administration correspondence and duties
Job Specification
DESIRABLE
- Degree qualified
ESSENTIAL
- 2 A Levels @ Grade A* – C (or equivalent) / AAT qualified
- 5 GCSEs @ Grades 4 – 9 (or equivalent) including Grade 6 or above in Maths and English
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Essential
- The ability to work as part of a team and supervise junior staff and colleagues
- The ability to work with minimum supervision, using own initiative
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Enthusiasm and adaptability
