Job Description

  • To assist with preparation of accounts for all sizes of businesses/charities
  • Preparation of management accounts at monthly / quarterly intervals for growing clients
  • To process weekly/monthly payroll for a variety of businesses
  • To prepare VAT returns using the various different scheme available
  • Preparation of Corporation tax and Income tax computations and returns
  • To undertake book-keeping work for clients and the firm
  • Routine office administration correspondence and duties

Job Specification

DESIRABLE

  • Degree qualified

ESSENTIAL

  • 2 A Levels @ Grade A* – C (or equivalent) / AAT qualified
  • 5 GCSEs @ Grades 4 – 9 (or equivalent) including Grade 6 or above in Maths and English
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office   Essential
  • The ability to work as part of a team and supervise junior staff and colleagues
  • The ability to work with minimum supervision, using own initiative
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Enthusiasm and adaptability
