[Employer hidden] provide bespoke Accountancy and Taxation services to individuals, sole traders, partnerships, Limited Companies and Charities, locally, nationally and internationally!

The role

Job Description

  • To meet and greet clients and visitors, handle incoming and outgoing telephone calls, emails and postal mail
  • To ensure the office building is clean and tidy and to manage stationery, kitchen and bathroom stocks
  • To onboard and offboard clients and setup client files, fee agreements, direct debits, ID documents and HMRC authorisations
  • To assist with client bookkeeping tasks, record income / expenses, upload invoices / receipts and match bank transactions
  • To assist in the firm’s social media and marketing strategy, to attend events and assist in the organisation of MJH events
  • Other routine office administration correspondence and duties

Job Specification

Desirable

  • 2 A Levels @ Grade A* – C (or equivalent)

Essential

  • 5 GCSEs @ Grades 4 – 9 (or equivalent) including Grade 5 or above in Maths and English
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office
  • The ability to work as part of a team
  • The ability to work with minimum supervision, using own initiative
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Enthusiasm and adaptability
