The role responsibilities and impact
As a Software Engineer here, you won’t be working on “just another platform.”
You’ll be:
- Helping people take control of their money
- Building systems that customers rely on every single day
- Turning complex financial problems into simple, human experiences

And day-to-day, you'll be
- Designing and building scalable backend systems in the cloud
- Owning systems end-to-end — from idea ? build ? production
- Working closely with product and design to solve real user problems
- Making key architectural decisions that shape the future of the platform
- Improving performance, reliability, and security across critical systems
- Mentoring others and contributing to a high-performing engineering culture

We're looking for a passionate Senior Engineer, who cares about impact whilst solving large scale and real problems. AND, you'll offer:
- Strong backend engineering experience (Kotlin, Java, or similar)
- Experience building and scaling distributed systems
- AI Tooling (you'll use Claude, Cursor or similar daily)
- A product mindset, you think about users, not just code
- You value clean code, testing, and long-term quality
- Comfortable making trade-offs and moving at pace
- A collaborative approach, low ego, high ownership
