Overview

My [Employer hidden] client is looking for a talented and motivated individual to support the senior business team in all aspects of IT Governance and reporting. The Role

You will define and own the enterprise IT portfolio governance strategy, framework, and operating model. This involves leading multi-year technology investment planning and managing the annual capital budgeting processes. Acting as a key pillar within the COO office, you will be responsible for the "business of IT," tracking performance, budgeting, and financial health across a global technology estate.

Key responsibilities include:

• Defining and owning the enterprise IT portfolio governance strategy and operating model
• Leading multi-year technology investment planning and annual capital budgeting processes
• Supporting the senior business team with IT financial reporting and performance metrics
• Managing project planning, issue identification, and risk mitigation across the portfolio
• Overseeing change management initiatives to ensure seamless strategy execution
• Providing leadership and line management to a dedicated team
• Operating effectively within a matrix-managed global environment

Requirements

- Background: Proven experience within an Office of the COO (IT) or Finance Technology function

- Industry: Strong track record within a matrix-managed global Financial Services firm

- Project Management: Expert skills in planning, risk management, and issue resolution

- Leadership: Demonstrable line management experience

- Mindset: A highly collaborative approach with the ability to influence senior stakeholders

- Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills for high-level executive reporting
