Up to £750 per day

The Role
We are working with a highly respected and long-established firm based in London that is looking to appoint an experienced Cloud Architect to play a key role in shaping and delivering its cloud strategy. This is a senior, hands-on role offering the opportunity to design scalable, secure, and resilient cloud platforms that support business-critical systems across the organisation.
Responsibilities
- Architecting AWS-based cloud platforms to support large-scale, data-intensive workloads
- Driving the cloud architecture for enterprise data modernisation and migration initatives
- Defining patterns for scalability, resillience, security, and cost-efficiency on AWS
- Working closely with data engineering, platform, and security teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
- Balancing strategic direction with hands-on architectural problem-solving
Requirements
- Strong experience as a Cloud Architect or Senior Technical Leader in AWS environments
- A track record of delivering large-scale data transformation programmes
- Deep understanding of AWS-native services used in modern data architectures (e.g., data leaks, analytics platforms, streaming, distributed processing)
- Experience designing systems that handle volume, velocity, and variety of data
