Senior Windows Systems Engineer
My client, an established FinTech firm, are seeking a Senior Windows Engineer to join their team in London. The role is broad and varied, combining project work and operational responsibilities. Buy side experience is highly desirable. Experience with Omnissa Horizon (previously VMware Horizon / View) is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Virtualisation: VMware vSphere / ESXi administration and support.
- VDI: Omnissa Horizon management and engineering.
- Server Engineering: Microsoft Server (2016–2025).
- Messaging: Exchange / Exchange Online and Microsoft 365.
- Cloud: Azure / Entra ID and related cloud technologies.
- SSO: SAML, OAuth, SCIM and related authentication technologies.
- Automation: PowerShell and Python scripting.
- Version Control: Git family, Bitbucket.
- Infrastructure as Code: Terraform and Ansible.
- Containers: Kubernetes experience highly desirable.
Requirements
- Windows: Strong Windows systems engineering background.
- VDI: Proven experience with Omnissa Horizon.
- Financial Services: Buy side experience highly desirable.
