The Role

As a Java Software Engineer, you will take a leading role in the design and development of high-performance front-office trading systems, contributing directly to the firm’s electronic trading and investment platforms.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing high-performance Java applications from the ground up.
  • Building and enhancing front-office eTrading systems used in live markets.
  • Working closely with traders, product owners, and other front-office technology teams.
  • Applying best-in-class engineering standards, including Clean Architecture and TDD.
  • Contributing to technical leadership and driving engineering best practices across the team.

Requirements

  • Education: Degree in Computer Science or a STEM discipline.
  • Experience: 4+ years’ experience in software engineering or a closely related role.
  • Technical Skills: Strong expertise as a Java Software Engineer with experience in modern development practices.
  • Domain Knowledge: Proven experience working in a front-office environment.
