Overview

My client is looking for an Integration Specialist to join their team. This is a key role within a scaling [Employer hidden] organization focused on improving healthcare delivery through seamless data exchange. Ideally, you will stem from an EPR Vendor background, however, NHS experience is also acceptable.

The Role

As an Integration Specialist, you will be responsible for the technical bridge between clinical systems. You will lead and participate in integration projects that ensure critical patient data flows accurately and securely across various platforms using modern healthcare standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Participating in and leading complex Integration projects from inception to delivery.
  • Executing HL7 and FHIR based integration work to ensure system interoperability.
  • Assisting in the creation and maintenance of interoperability design documentation.
  • Managing security certificates via SSL to ensure data remains protected and compliant.
  • Assisting customers with various EPR (Electronic Patient Record) integration aspects.
  • Managing and implementing API Integrations.
  • Liaising with multiple departments to assure the smooth delivery of technical solutions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience with HL7 and FHIR integration standards.
  • Strong understanding of clinical applications and healthcare processes (e.g., SNOMED, ICD-10, SUS+).
  • Solid understanding of SSL certificates and security protocols.
  • Experience with API-led connectivity and integration middleware.
  • Excellent communication skills to bridge the gap between technical teams and healthcare customers.
