FULL DESCRIPTION

[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] is seeking an onsite Character Artist. You will be able to provide us with examples of beautifully constructed characters, clean geometry, texture and material work. You will have a number of years’ experience as a Character artist in the industry with at least one published game to your name.

Requirements

  • Be able to showcase some creative flare as well as displaying core fundamentals such as solid topology, UV's and texturing
  • A deep understanding and knowledge in Maya and Zbrush plus a proven foundation in Photoshop
  • You should be able to display a folio with a wide range of examples demonstrating flexibility and a good eye for form, shape, composition and fun - we love nothing more than to see someone who loves their craft and enjoys what they do
  • A good working knowledge of Unreal 4/5 as well as experience using Marvelous Designer and/or scan development pipelines is beneficial.
  • Experience with facial blendshapes and wrinkle maps
  • Hair authoring experience - full strand based and hair cards
  • Good knowledge of anatomy
  • Examples of hard surface work
