FULL DESCRIPTION

[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] is seeking a UK-based 3D Modeller/Artist for a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role involves creating realistic textures and props, with strong skills in Maya, Blender, and Substance. The ideal candidate will have experience in generating diverse styles and working with current-gen technology.

Requirements

Solid experience creating realistic style props, substance material and texture creation
Creative and self motivated
Strong and versatile modelling skills
Experience using Maya
Experience using Substance
Experience using Blender
Extremely quality oriented
Some experience setting up LOD's
Strong verbal, written and visual communication skills
An artistic education to at least graduate level
Strong folio including examples of realistic modelling and environment

Responsibilities

Create optimized props, collision and LOD's to aid performance
Create AAA PBR materials and textures using Substance
Critique and iterate in a group
Follow and recreate established art styles
Reliably demonstrate an aptitude for the platform technology, asset discipline and pipeline processes
