We are seeking a dedicated Assessor/Trainer in Hospitality Front of House to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the day to day management of the booking and promotion of the Balkerne restaurant, whilst assessing and training learners in our restaurant and reception area, to industry standards. This will also include assessment of Apprenticeships who will infill in practical sessions.

About the role:

  • Deliver using current up to date practices to train and assess the front of house element within the Hospitality area
  • Liaise effectively with students, colleagues, customers and employers to meet set targets and support curriculum needs and development.
  • Promote and train all aspects of H&S, meeting the college and industry requirements
  • Keep and maintain accurate records and documentation in line with [Employer hidden] and awarding body policies
  • Maintain the reception and restaurant area in-line with awarding body requirements
  • Attend regular programme meetings and briefing sessions in line with curriculum policies
  • Complete appropriate awarding body documentation and ensure compliance of required procedures as standardised and requested by line manager

Essential Experience:

  • Experience in running a successful catering establishment including good knowledge of reception and bar.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Level 3 or above and/or a professional qualification in relevant subject area or equivalent
