At [Employer hidden], we’re looking for a dynamic, motivated, and experienced Trainer/Assessor to support our Health & Social Care Apprenticeship programmes on an hourly-paid basis.

Job Title: College Assessor Trainer - Health & Social Care

Part time, 0-20 hours per week.

About the Role:

  • Conducting workplace assessments in line with City & Guilds awarding body standards
  • Delivering engaging one-to-one and group training sessions
  • Providing constructive feedback and tailored support to help learners succeed
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of learner progress
  • Building strong relationships with employers to support apprentice success

Essential Qualifications:

  • Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (CAVA) or equivalent.
  • Minimum of Level 2 qualification in English and Mathematics GCSE 4+ or C and above / CSE Level 1 / O-Level C or above / Level 2 Adult Numeracy or Literacy or equivalent
  • Level 3 Teaching qualification or willingness to obtain one within 2 years in post
  • Assessor's Award

Essential Experience:

  • Proven experience of assessing learners in a health and social care setting.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and frameworks within adult care.
  • An understanding of equity, diversity and inclusion practices
