[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] is seeking an Industrial Engineer to analyze and design workflows, improve efficiencies, and support lean projects. Responsibilities include optimizing production facilities, managing training programs, and conducting cost control studies. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering and experience with lean systems, with strong skills in MS Office and SAP. The position also involves supporting lean projects and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.
Responsibilities:
Major Responsibilities:
- Analyze and design sequence of operations and workflow to improve efficiencies in plant and production facilities and equipment layouts; and establish methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel.
- May establish and may manage training programs for personnel concerning all phases of production operations.
- Conduct studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record system.
- Base on these studies, develop and implement plans and programs for facility modifications and revision to operation methods.
- May assist facilities & Process engineers in the planning and design of facilities.
Lean Project Support & Execution:
- Individual is required to support, participate, contribute and facilitate to the execution of lean projects relating to Kaizen event, Standardized work, Visual management and 5s.
- Rate lines as part of CPS implementation of maturity improvement.
- Conduct training on lean CPS population.
Powers:
- Delegation of tasks and responsibilities.
- Preparation of investment application.
- Call and carry out project meetings.
- Information/Communication to/with the information group.
Safety, Health, and Environment Responsibilities:
- Comply with the safety, health and environmental policy and procedures established by EHSMS.
- Be directly involved in corrective actions where they are related to other departments.
- Maintain applicable documented information related to the EHSMS up to date.
- Receive the necessary training to ensure adequate competence of their position and staff.
- Prepare the necessary information to monitor, measure and analyses the different environmental objectives as applicable.

Qualifications / Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree on Industrial Engineering.
- Green Belt Certification as desirable

- 2+ years' experience leading lean systems thinking and improvement.

- Advance skills in MS Office and Desirable advanced statistical software packages (Minitab, etc).
Nice to have:
- Strong experience with capacity modeling, simulation, line balancing, and time studies
- Highly skilled with Microsoft Excel, Power Point, and AutoCAD (or similar 2D CAD)
- Understanding of and appetite for financial analysis
- Expertise developing and maintaining products standard costs
- Lean and/or Six Sigma certification or training
- Proficiency in process mapping/value stream mapping and Microsoft Visio
- Prior experience With ERP Systems

- Environmental Matters, Training in the documents of the Environmental System, Attention and Response to Disasters, Operational Controls that correspond to them, Determination of Significant Environmental Aspects and Impacts that correspond to them, EHS Policy and Environmental
