Ray Young - Callout for Black queer/trans dancers
SKILLS
FULL DESCRIPTION
We are seeking two Black queer, trans+ or gender non-conforming dance performers of Caribbean heritage for a restaging of Ray Young’s award-winning work OUT for a UK tour in spring 2024. Defiantly challenging homophobia and transphobia, OUT is a duet – a conversation between two bodies, carving out a new kind of space, reclaiming Dancehall and celebrating Vogue culture amongst the bittersweet scent of oranges.
