FULL DESCRIPTION

Cranswick Gourmet Sausage Co. (Lazenby’s) is looking for an experienced Packaging Operative to service the lines within the factory with packaging within a busy chilled food environment. This role is working 4on/4off, hours: 06:00-18:00.

Main duties include (but not limited to):

  • Maintain control of packaging movement (trays, cardboard outer etc) from Dry stores to the Stock Holding Area to Gourmet
  • Liaise with Stores, Production and Planning to meet daily manufacturing requirements
  • Electronic recording of packaging movement (using NAV), including daily stock takes.
  • Replenishing stocks of packaging in Gourmet
  • Accurate labelling of packaging for traceability purposes

Requirements, experience and person specification

  • Excellent communicator and team player (must have good levels of written and spoken English)
