Job requirements of Night Hygiene Operative:
We are looking for a Night Hygiene Operative to join our established Hygiene team at [Employer hidden] in Eye, Suffolk. You will be responsible for ensuring the factory is kept clean and tidy, ensuring safe production.
Shift Pattern – 3 Week rotation:
- Week 1 working 4 days - 21.40 to 07.40 (38 hours)
- Week 2, working 4 days – 3 days working 21.40 to 07.40 and 1 day (Saturday) – 18:40 to 06:40 (40 hours)
- Week 3, Working 5 days – 2 day (Saturday and Sunday) working 18:40 to 06:40 and 3 days working 21:40 – 07:40 (51.50 hours)
Duties
- To take responsibility for the cleaning required to make things safe and healthy for the distribution to our customers
- Various aspects will be involved including cleaning verification, equipment checks and PPE checks to make sure that everything they have is in the correct condition.
- There will also be a requirement for you to fill in the paperwork for the work you have completed for the day.
- Duties and responsibilities can change regularly based on the factory needs
What you will need:
- Understanding and application of hazard identification and near miss reporting.
- Understanding of Manual Handling and Working at height
- Understanding of relevant risk assessments and trained as competent to safe working procedures
- Hygiene experience advantageous, however not essential
