FULL DESCRIPTION
Perthshire RFC is seeking a proactive Rugby Development Officer to lead and deliver sustainable rugby development initiatives, focusing on growing youth rugby, enhancing development in schools and community programs, and fostering teamwork and player development.
Purpose of the Role
Perthshire RFC is an inclusive and ambitious community rugby club seeking a proactive and driven Rugby Development Officer to lead, shape, and deliver sustainable rugby development initiatives across the region.
The role focuses on the following priorities:
- Growing both boys’ and girls’ youth rugby within the club
- Maintaining and enhancing development across key secondary schools, associated primary schools, and wider community programmes to maximise player transition into the club
- Working collaboratively with the Scottish Rugby Union (SRU)
- Providing young people with opportunities to develop skills, confidence, and positive lifelong habits through rugby
The postholder will play a key role in nurturing teamwork, leadership, and long-term player development across the Perthshire rugby community.
