Bar Manager: Falkirk FC

The Bar Manager will operationally manage the bar in the Falkirk Fanzone for all events, including adhering to licensing objectives, managing staffing, stock management, managing cash, driving high quality customer service, and ensuring high standards of service and cleanliness.

Role Purpose

Operationally manage the bar in the Falkirk Fanzone for all events for matchdays and additional dates, this will include adhering to the licensing objectives, managing staffing, stock management, managing cash, driving high quality customer service, driving high standards of service, cleanliness and dispute resolution in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Venue Operations

  • Manage set up of bar on event dates
  • Brief and manage staff to adhere to licensing objectives
  • Carry out stock checks, direct stock rotation and basic supplier communication including ordering of the stock.
  • Handle cash safely where required
  • Oversee cleanliness including beer lines are cleaned and maintained to a high standard, waste removal and bar reset
  • Work with the Commercial team to identify and implement improvements to the Fanzoneoffer, including product range, pricing, service delivery and entertainment, with a focus on increasing revenue and enhancing the customer experience
  • Open and close the bar set up, completing all operational checks
  • Support preparation for wider club events as scheduled

Compliance and Safety

  • Maintain licensing compliance
  • Adhere to club H&S requirements

Staff Support

  • Liaise with bar, security and temporary event staff
  • Manage rota confirmations and on-the-day coordination

Working Pattern

  • 12-17 hours per home match week depending on schedule
  • Evenings and weekends required
  • Additional hours available for club events
