We are looking for an experienced and passionate Events & Community Fundraising Officer to work as part of our Fundraising Team. This role will work closely with the other members of the events fundraising team to increase income by growing participation in events and community fundraising.

The Fundraising Team are responsible for generating income for [Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] and Mental Health UK from a range of sources. The team work closely with teams across the organisation to communicate the need for support, telling the stories of the work our charity delivers and how we’re changing lives for people severely affected by mental illness.
[Employer hidden] deliver both national and local services that enable and empower people to understand and manage their mental health in a person-centred and empathetic way.
How you will make a difference
This role will work closely with the other members of the events fundraising team to increase income by growing participation in events and community fundraising. This will be done by engaging with the public to grow both awareness of [Employer hidden], but also to increase participation in events.
The post holder will need to take responsibility for ensuring the delivery and execution of an exciting calendar of fundraising events, and also work closely with the involvement team to grow participation for community events. Stewardship of our existing supporters and helping with decisions on marketing new events will also play a key part in this role. Innovation in stewardship and the way we engage with supporters will be key. Also contributing to the creation of new fundraising products and developing current ones.
