Customer Communications Partner

Salary: £35,342 per annum
Location: Stockport

The Vacancy

Are you passionate about communicating and connecting with customers? Do you thrive in a fast‑paced comms environment where no two days are the same? If so, we would love you to join us as our next Customer Communications Partner!

What you’ll do

In this exciting role, you’ll be at the heart of how we engage, inform, and inspire our customers. You’ll shape high‑quality communications that make a real difference to communities across Stockport.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Creating and coordinating standout customer communications aligned with our brand.
  • Managing and monitoring our social media channels- keeping conversations positive, helpful, and responsive.
  • Delivering innovative campaigns that boost engagement and amplify our messages.
  • Building strong working relationships across teams to ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery.
  • Producing engaging content for web, social media, and publications with the right tone of voice.
  • Using analytics and customer feedback to continually improve our approach.
  • Championing a blend of traditional and cutting‑edge communication methods to reach diverse audiences.

About you

You’re someone who brings energy, creativity, and attention to detail. You’ll shine in this role if you have:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A passion for delivering brilliant customer service.
  • Experience with CMS platforms and social media scheduling tools.
  • A track record of delivering creative communications or campaigns.
  • Confidence working proactively, building relationships, and hitting deadlines.
  • A love of using data to influence and improve communications.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills and a keen eye for detail.
