FULL DESCRIPTION

[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] seeks a Programme Manager to lead and support programmes controlling vector borne diseases in emergency settings. The role requires strong leadership, communication, and technical skills, with experience in country-level operations. The position is based in the UK.

Programme Manager – UK

[Employer hidden] is one of the world’s leading humanitarian organisations dedicated to the control of malaria and other vector borne diseases in emergency settings. The organisation delivers large scale disease control interventions to communities caught up in emergencies. In parallel, we work to build the technical and operational capacity of local and international partners, to incorporate medium and long term disease control systems into their operations and country strategy.

We are now looking for a highly motivated and skilled Programme Manager to join us in our Headquarters management team to work on programmes in Africa. The right person will have the initiative, leadership and technical skill set to help design, support and lead new and effective programmes to control vector borne diseases in some of the most challenging settings in the world.

You will need to have excellent team skills, advanced written and verbal communication skills, and come with relevant country level and technical experience. You will be able to effectively support country level teams and help them to achieve their full potential and impact. French, Portuguese or another second language would be a bonus.
