Pricing Analyst

The Commercial Services Division is at the forefront of managing the financial risk of MPS worldwide. The Pricing Analyst will be a technical analyst responsible for pricing, including annual updates (or more often as appropriate).

The role will primarily focus on technical pricing, including segmental “pool” analysis/burn cost analysis however may work across both technical and retail pricing.

Role Responsibility

• To assist the Senior Pricing Analysts and Pricing Manager in setting subscriptions across MPS worldwide business, making sure subscriptions are set appropriately and accurately and that appropriate controls are incorporated into process.
• Ensuring the final rates are set and go live is achieved.
• Liaise with the company actuary to make sure that analysis, assumptions and results are correct and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Provide responses to requests for ad hoc pricing schemes.

The Ideal Candidate

This role would suit someone with the following skills & experience:

• Mathematical or Scientific degree
• Some post graduate business experience
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
• Keen analytical and problem solving skills
• An understanding of SQL would be beneficial
• A self starter who can work using own initiative
