The Benefice of the Resurrection in Alton, Hampshire, and adjacent villages is looking for a creative and strategic leader who can build on existing children’s groups so they live for Jesus and His mission.

This is a part-time post of 25 hours per week at a generous salary of £22,750. They are seeking someone:

  • To inspire children to receive for themselves the gift of faith in Jesus Christ
  • To seek God for a fresh vision for children, their families and schools in the benefice
  • To integrate children into the core life of the church
  • To have responsibility, alongside the current leaders in the benefice, for the pastoral care of children and their families
  • To build strong relationships with the primary schools, providing resources and time for the curriculum
  • To be a vibrant and active presence within the benefice community.

This is a post for someone with experience of children’s work who will enjoy developing the ministry of the benefice and working in a large, dynamic team.
