Children & Youth Coordinator – Monty’s Community Hub
This is an exciting role coordinating our youth and children’s work, providing support for Monty’s incredible team of volunteers, and developing their school holiday provision, family events and ‘Out of Comfort Zone’ programme.
The ideal applicant will have experience working with children and young people, supporting people and teams to flourish, and dealing with safeguarding. Monty’s are looking for someone who can support their incredible volunteers to deliver their exciting children and youth provision, and, alongside their local community, develop new and exciting sessions for local children and families.
Monty’s are looking for someone to start in May 2026 – for an initial 12-month contract, with the possibility of an extension beyond this. They are advertising quite a flexible role, in terms of hours, and in terms of a focus on either children or youth. Monty’s can shape the role around the right person (to some extent) – do get in touch if you want to chat about your application.
This will be a part time position, for between 12 and 22 hours per week – including Mondays, Tuesday evenings and Wednesday afternoons. The successful applicant will be offered some flexible working hours, a high degree of autonomy, exciting opportunities for ongoing training and development, wellbeing support, pension options, and a starting salary of between £25,263.24 – £27,316.36 FTE per year depending on qualifications and experience.
HOW TO APPLY
The deadline for applications is Monday 6 April 2026 – with interviews on Tuesday 14 April. Monty’s will let you know if you are invited to interview on Tuesday 7 April. Apply here >>>
