Can you enthusiastically develop further our ministry to children, in both our churches, local schools and community, enabling all to encounter God’s love?

The Parish of Chandler’s Ford is a lively and diverse Christian community in Chandler’s Ford, Hampshire. They strive to be a place where all children and their families can explore God’s love and be inspired to develop their faith.

The Parish of Chandler’s Ford’s children’s groups meet every week during term time on Sunday and Tuesday. Their prayer is to see them ‘Loving Jesus, Loving People and Making Disciples.’

As well as our regular children’s groups, the successful candidate will, with others in the leadership group, organise and deliver monthly Messy Church, an annual holiday club and seasonal activities e.g. a Light Party. They will also maintain and build relationships with local primary schools, including co-ordination of the Parish Assemblies Team.

Contract: 25 hours per week

Salary range: £18,973. Additionally, single occupancy room and board with a family in the parish may be available.

Interviews: Tuesday 4th November, morning.

There is an occupational requirement that the post holder has a Christian faith, under Part 1, Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010. An enhanced DBS check will be required.
