Since their last Youth & Children’s Worker left in the summer of 2023, the parish have reflected and put together a new role which they hope will give someone the ideal opportunity to grow their ministry amongst children, working alongside the children’s families and local primary schools. The parish have a number of groups and activities already:
- Teddies Toddler Groups in St Lawrence Church and The Church of the Holy Rood Holybourne
- Glow – an After School Club for those in Key Stage 2
- Lighthouse children’s groups on Sundays in St Lawrence Church
- Collective Worships (assemblies) in some of the local schools
- Curriculum support for schools both in parish buildings and in classrooms
- Board Game Afternoons
- Activities for the major festivals – Christmas, Easter, Harvest etc
