Are you experienced and excited about supporting older and vulnerable adults in a variety of community settings? Does your Christian faith motivate you to support older people from all church traditions, with people of all faiths or none? Then this opportunity could be for you.

What’s On Offer:

• The post is for 16 hours a week
• Salary £12.50 per hour (£10,400 p.a.)
• NEST pension: 5% employee’s contribution, 3% employer’s contribution
• Flexible working with be required involving the occasional Sunday and evening responsibility
• Annual leave is 28 days including statutory Bank Holidays

[Employer hidden] has been authorised by The Bible Reading Fellowship (BRF) to establish this post, which is one of a growing number of Anna Chaplains across the country, with a specific ministry to older people. As well as the chance to join a team who are already providing pastoral care for people in local communities, the Anna Chaplain will have the opportunity to imagine, create and coordinate a new model of ministry to older people.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Offering spiritual support to older people whether they are living in their own home, care homes or sheltered housing
• Supporting and training family and professional carers in the delivery of spiritual care as part of an old person’s care needs
• Advocating for the needs of older people across our churches and the wider community
