The [Employer hidden], Aton, are looking for a Christian Children and Primary Schools Worker who can inspire children, young people and their families to flourish in their faith in Jesus and worship regularly within our community.

The [Employer hidden] is in the Diocese of Winchester and in North East Hampshire.  They are four churches with a variety of worship.  Already, they have a number of activities for children, schools and their families but want to see more and grow.

The [Employer hidden] are looking for someone who will work with their volunteers and give much needed strategic leadership so that they see more children and young people in their town living for Jesus and His mission.

They are seeking someone:

  • To encourage children and young people to receive for themselves the gift of faith in Jesus Christ
  • To seek God for a fresh vision for children, their families and primary schools in the parish
  • To provide opportunities for children and young people within the parish to flourish in their faith in Jesus Christ
  • To be inspiring and innovative in approach and the activities provided so that children and young people will be drawn in and nurtured
  • To have responsibility, alongside the current leaders in the parish, for the pastoral care of children, young people and their families
  • To build positive and fruitful relationships all the local primary schools providing resources and time for their curriculum.

This is post for someone with experience who will relish the challenge of growing the parish’s ministry and working in a large dynamic team.

25 hours a week, £13 per hour rising to £15 after 3 months.
