Job Details

[Employer hidden] are currently recruiting for a Field Service Engineer on behalf of a medical diagnostic company on a permanent basis.   The position will be office based in Gateshead, coupled with extensive travel throughout the UK and occasionally internationally. The role will be Monday – Friday daytime working hours.    The successful candidate will be responsible for making sure all products are installed, maintained, and repaired to the highest standards. This position will also work closely with the technical support team to ensure all customer requests are addressed appropriately, within established KPI’s, to ensure a positive outcome for the customer.

Essential skills:

  • A strong understanding of electronics, mechanics, and software.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Available for extensive travel within the UK, including overnight stays.
  • Full UK driving license.

Desirable skills:

  • Previous experience with medical or IVD devices.
  • Previous experience working with the NHS.
