The Role

Our client; an expanding [Employer hidden] company, is looking to hire a highly experienced lawyer to join them on a permanent contract in a dual role as Senior Legal Counsel and Head of Compliance. This role is based in their Dublin-based office.

The Responsibilities

The role will include (but may not be limited to following tasks and responsibilities:

• Working closely with senior management to build and implement the legal and risk strategy for the business
• Providing day-to-day support across the global business on the legal aspects of investments from inception of deals through to close
• Leading the structuring of co-investment transactions and complex portfolio structured products in conjunction with investment managers and external legal counsel, as required.
• Implementing company-wide training on key policies and risk management for the business.
• Advising on regulatory, employment, data protection and litigious matters and other general areas as they arise across the business often with multi-jurisdictional issues.
• Managing budgets and legal spend across the business.

The Requirements

The successful candidate will have the following skills, experience and requirements:

• 8+ PQE Qualified Lawyer (England & Wales)
• Previous people management experience
• Broad in-house corporate and commercial experience
