Our client; a long-standing but constantly adapting [Employer hidden] services company, is hiring into their in-house commercial team for a junior lawyer (0-2 PQE) with commercial contracts experience, to join them on a permanent contract.

The Role

Our client; a long-standing but constantly adapting [Employer hidden] services company, is hiring into their in-house commercial team for a junior lawyer (0-2 PQE) with commercial contracts experience, to join them on a permanent contract.

The Responsibilities

The role will include (but may not be limited to) the following tasks and responsibilities:

  • Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial contracts, including data and privacy review
  • Working with the wider team to provide pragmatic commercial legal advice to the business and manage risk
  • When appropriate, getting involved in strategic contracts-based projects
  • Working along with external counsel to maintain the IP portfolio
  • Managing the legal inbox, addressing queries and escalating where necessary
  • Assisting with M&A and other key projects
  • + much more

The Requirements

The successful candidate will have the following skills, experience and requirements:

  • 0-2 PQE (England & Wales)
  • Some in-house experience, ideally (secondment or direct employment)
  • Familiarity with reviewing , drafting and negotiating commercial contracts
  • Ability and willingness to learn quickly
