Legal Counsel - Commodities - Multinational Financial Institution

The Role Our client; a top multinational financial institution, is looking to hire an experienced Commodities Lawyer (4+ PQE) on a permanent contract.

The Responsibilities The role will include (but may not be limited to following tasks and responsibilities: - Advising the business on a range of aspects surrounding the commodity market - Supporting across the group's commodities and global markets business streams - Advising on complex security documentation - Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating transactional documentation across a wide range of asset classes - Advising on the practical impact of new regulations and cross-border issues. - Managing and mitigating legal risks, implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with laws and regulations. - + much more

The Requirements The successful candidate will satisfy the following criteria: - 4+ PQE (England & Wales OR Commonwealth) - Relevant commodities finance-based experience within a well regarded London-based law firm or financial institution - Excellent interpersonal skills and stakeholder management
